CHRIS WEINSTEIN
Writer / Director / Editor / guitar player / Shortstop / dad
Creative Director: NBC

Chris entered the world of film and television the proper way - as an editor. Having started at Lorne Michael’s “Broadway Video” at the age of 21, he amazed television viewers with his editorial contributions to music videos, Rockumentaries, and shows like “House of Style” and “MTV Sports”. He has 2 Emmys for his work on “MTV Sports” and countless advertising/TV promotion Monitor awards from his editing years.

One day, Chris decided to stop cutting other people’s stuff and start getting his own shots. He has written almost all of the spots he has directed and can be found back in the edit chair when the situation calls.

As a creative Director at NBC’s Internal Agency, CIA, he was charged with creating branded campaigns for the likes of MICROSOFT, AMAZON, PEPSI, AMERICAN EXPRESS, CHRYSLER, SNAPPLE, JEEP, UNIVERSAL PICTURES and a bunch he’s forgetting…

Beyond the library of 30 second long stories he has also:

• Directed a spy-comedy feature film on 35mm entitled “Red Dog. Scooter. Applesauce”

• produced/directed/edited a 90 minute concert documentary for PolyGram Records
